Torn Curtain, Bernard Hermann, and how hard it is to kill someone

The scene with Gromek is the most intense on film. Most movies show someone getting shot or stabbed, falling   down and never getting up.  Hermann's  haunting score adds to it. I am reckoning Hitch got up one morning and thought " I am going to show how hard it is to kill someone."

    LOL! You hit the nail on the head -- learning what I have about Hitch, that's probably true!
